NORTH SHORE:

Princeville

    • Thai restaurant inside the Princeville mart where the market (Foodland)

    • Great food at the gas station store - a hidden spot for less expensive food - take to the beach

    • Foodland is the market to go to / unless you go to Cost Co - in Lihue (after you land)

    • Bea’s Pizza , Lappert’s ice cream (have one for me)

    • Nourish Hanalei - this is between Princeville and Hanalei - great salads, smoothies, bowls - amazing view -pretty new

Hanalei

  • Postcards Restaurant - call my dad / 808-635-4155

  • Tunnels Beach / Makana/ Bali High— Heana, (best beach- you can park there, and space  the day on the beautiful beach - surf is up, so be careful),

  • Continue north ( you cannot go to the end of the road - Ke’e, unless you reserved a space, but you can stop at the cold pond, past Haena State park, just past Limahuli Gardens- worth jumping in.

  • Breakfast: Bread Company , Wake up cafe, or drive north to Haene and stop at the Hanalei Colony Resort, and there is a small cafe with bagels and coffee.

        • Queen’s Bath - can be crowded and locals don’t love visitors, but it is cool

        • Farmers market - Sat. Hanalei and Princeville (better market - close to library)

        • Walk around - Ching young village, and across the street / Big Save Market

Wainiha

        • Cute little store / food in the back / shave ice / not always open

        • Lumihae beach

        • Tuesday Farmers Market - past Hanalei - Waipa - kind of expensive

        • Sat. Farmers Market - Hanalei , by the cute church

Kilauea - 20 min from Princeville - the other way - east from Princeville - Go to Kilauea

    • Hike - Turn right on Kilihiway Bridge or ask where the dog park is - There is an entrance to an amazing hike - follow the signs

    • Kong Lung Center - shopping and Sushi Girl (really good)

    • Fish Market / and a really good Market -healthier and more millennial

    • Lighthouse

EAST SIDE

  • Kapaa / Wailua - i hour from Princeville

    • Shopping, more commercial

      • Kayak on the Wailua River Poipu Beach - cute - often turtles, not always. Koloa town on the way to the south side - Darren and Andrea Live here /Darren - 323-547-7678 /Hanalei Sea Tours - Whale watching boat ride - 808-335-5309 / Walk around - so cute - food trucks are good

  • Lihue - 1  - 1 15 min from Princeville / where the cost co is located and big box store

    • Hamura Saimin- lunch - yum old school

    • Grove Farm

    • Alerton MeBride Botanical garden

    • Smith Laua

SOUTH SIDE

-Koloa town  / on the way to the south side - 1 -1 1/2 hours from Princeville
